Heart in the Community: Aga Charity Demonstration – 26th March 2008 Raises a massive £1060.00 for Macmillan Cancer Support
Annie Snowdon an AGA Owner / AGA Demonstrator attended to the proceedings and conducted a demonstration at the AGA Shop in Stratford on 26th March in a bid to raise as much as possible for this worthy cause. Nineteen valued AGA Owners paid to attend this “Eat for Life” Demonstration with all proceeds being made going directly to the Macmillan Fund. Annie prepared a variety of superb, succulent and sumptuous dishes using various different medicinal foods which help to maintain a Healthy Body.
Furthermore, a pause was made during the demonstration for Mrs Terry Rigby who acted on behalf of Trish Lee from Better Naturally who supply Nature’s Sunshine Products to present information regarding various tablets, supplements and health drinks that are available to further promote a Healthy Life Style.
In addition to the demonstration a raffle was made with many a prize being donated from local shops such as Party Pzazz, Lakeland, Cornucopia, Texas Troop Line Dance Group, Estee Lauder, Offshoot, Kelly’s Salon, Ragley Hall, The Literary Festival, and the AGA Shop. A very BIG thank you to each and every one of those retailers – without whose support we would not have been able to make this fund raising event happen.
