Will I reduce my fuel costs?
All systems like these are primarily designed to ensure that you use less energy derived from fossil fuels and more from renewable sources. They should be seen as a longer-term investment in your home and a conscious decision by you to reduce your carbon footprint and reduce overall energy usage. The more energy you use from renewable sources and take whole home energy saving measures such as cavity wall insulation, the more you should reduce your oil or gas usage.

While energy derived from solar is free at the point of use, unless you have access to suitable wood of your own, you will need to consider the costs of buying well-seasoned hardwood when calculating running costs for woodburning appliances. Awoodburning central heating system can reduce CO2 emissions by as much as 9.65 tonnes per year, while a typical solar panel system can reduce CO2 emissions by as much as 580kg a year, depending on which fuel it replaces.

Who installs the system?
For systems that include either AGA Rayburn Solar Panels or the AGA Rayburn Eco-Connect Panel, we provide a full installation service to make things as simple as possible and ensure that your system is configured correctly. For components such as a Rayburn Heatranger or AGA Stove, we can either supply directly to you or your installer or provide a full installation service. The choice is yours, and either way the components are covered by our standard warranty – up to five years on appliances and up to ten years on solar panels.
