The Aga Shop celebrates its passion for fresh local ingredients with their local food producers

We were pleased to host an open day dedicated to the best of local foods on the 27th of September - launching the Aga Local Life Campaign in Glasgow.

Aga demonstrator Lesley Cairns, had a whole host of delicious ingredients at her disposal, with delicious produce such as meats from butcher Andrew Reid, and fresh veg and fruits from Stair Organic Growing proving to be fine examples of quality ingredients in our area. Our visitors had the additional benefit of meeting Ria form Ian Mellis cheeses (cheese and deli goods at their best) and Douglas of Cookroom (award winning home baking!) who happily answer questions and shared their food knowledge.

Jacqueline O'Donnell -our local celebrity chef, entertained all our customers with a fantastic demonstration. Once again the focus lay on using produce from local suppliers with her dishes making good use of ingredients from Taste of Arran and Smittons.
