The Aga Shop celebrates its passion for fresh local ingredients with their local food producers
Supporting Abderdeen's local producers was the celebrated topic on the 20th September, as the Local Life campaign launched at the Aga Shop.
Delicious food was on offer thanks to our demonstrator Susan McGinty. Susan did a fabulous job at creating mouth-watering dishes while offering useful cookery tips and advice. Fragrant smoked haddock formed a key ingredient in some dishes which was generously supplied to us by Pez Espada
(a fantastic local suppler of smoked goods!).
All our visitors on the day agreed that they had gained valuable insight into the importance of knowing where our food comes from and the difference in flavour and quality that local foods offer.
