The Aga Shop celebrates its passion for fresh local ingredients with their local food producers
A great day was had by all, as the Local Life campaign made its way to the Aga Shop, Orpington, on the 6th of September. Local producer, Hewitts Farm Shop, set up an attractive stall within the Aga showroom - selling a colourful selection of products to visitors and providing endless culinary inspiration for our Aga cookery demonstration. A delicious chocolate and confectionary display was provided in-store by local supplier, Cocoapod.
Diane van Bueren had our kitchen under control, conducting an Aga cookery demonstration throughout the day, and tempting everyone with her mouth-watering dishes. Using produce from Hewitts Farm shop, Diane created dishes that highlighted the excellent produce that we were supplied with, such as a spicy chicken biriyani and delicious bacon and apricot wraps.
It was without doubt a day of great fun and great food!
