The Aga Shop celebrates its passion for fresh local ingredients with their local food producers
The Aga Shop,Shrewsbury, took the Local Life campaign right to the heart of the community – the Shrewsbury Food and Drink Fair! A welcoming sight was to be found in our somewhat rainy and damp Shrewsbury Square, where our local fair is usually held. Nestled comfortably between the stalls of local produce was our live13 amp Aga.
Demonstrator, James McIntosh cooked continuously on our Aga, and provided some much needed nourishment to our slightly damp visitors – while the Aga gave a welcoming warmth to them! James cooked some delicious heart-warming treats such as roast chicken and jam sponge. And, of course, we were never short of prime, fresh local produce - with all our ingredients being readily available from our neighbouring stall holders!
