The Aga Shop celebrates its passion for fresh local ingredients with their local food producers
The Local Life campaign launched at the Aga Shop Adlington on the 3rd September, with our local food heroes, Grundy & Neill Organics, supplying a fantastic array of local ingredients. From organic fruits and veg, to meats, breads and preserves - this butchery and delicatessen proved to be the finest example of what local produce is all about - all their foods being sourced exclusively in the North West area.
Grundy and Neill started off the event, by hosting a butchery masterclass. Our guests - including Aga Rangemaster CEO, William McGrath - found this class to be very informative and entertaining. Aga demonstrator Marcia Poole, was next to take the reins, with an excellent Aga cookery demonstration. Using ingredients supplied by Grundy and Neill, Marcia created delicious, flavoursome dishes that exceeded everyone's expectations.
All of our customers agreed that the event gave them key insight into food production, British farming and the necessity of supporting our fantastic local producers.
