Eckington Manor Cookery School
Eckington Manor Cookery School is situated at the heart of a beautiful working farm, set in 260 acres of river meadow pasture along the banks of the river Avon.
On offer are a range of classes for both the beginner through to the serious foodie and professional caterer. This truly unique Cookery School also specialises in running tailor made cookery courses for groups.
Everyone has their own individual facilities set in ten, amazingly equipped, integrated kitchens. This includes your very own Heat Storage Aga, Rangemaster or Falcon and not forgetting your own fully stocked refrigerator. A very special experience.
The Cookery team is let by Michelin-starred chef Martyn Pearn, who believes in creating dishes which don’t need massive amounts of ingredients. He uses only the freshest and finest of produce - straight from the farm where ever possible, including their award winning Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle.
The classes are fun and relaxed, ranging from an Aga Taster Day, to Modern Day Sushi, or how about Exclusively Men or Essential Aga. The list of courses available just about covers everyone’s taste and abilities.
If you don’t feel like driving home, why not stay over night in the lovingly restored and luxuriously appointed 13th century timber framed hall house, situated just across the courtyard. There are five en-suite bedrooms to choose from, all stunningly decorated.
